摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of inspecting accurately a wire rope by a wire rope inspection device.SOLUTION: An elevator device includes a sheave 4 and a sheave 5, a main rope 2, a camera 7 and a light source 9. The sheave 4 and the sheave 5 are provided in a box 1 of an elevator. The main rope 2 is constituted of a wire rope. The main rope 2 is wound around the sheave 4 and the sheave 5, and suspends the box 1. The camera 7 is provided in the box 1, and photographs the main rope 2a between the sheave 4 and the sheave 5. The light source 9 is provided in the box 1, and radiates light to the main rope 2a.

The position holding part holds the hook in an object position as a detection target of the detecting part in the position where the hook is locked on the latch, the detecting part detects whether or not the hook is put in the object position, and the stop processing part puts the elevator in the operation stop state when it is not detected that the hook is put in the object position.
