摘要： An information processor includes a storage unit storing a first coefficient in correspondence with a characteristic of a sheet of paper, a first acquisition unit acquiring a first signal based on the water content of a first sheet of paper not having an image formed thereon, a second acquisition unit acquiring a second signal based on the water content of the first sheet of paper having an image formed thereon and being heated for fixing, a determination unit determining the characteristic of the first sheet of paper, a first calculation unit calculating a variation in water content of the first sheet of paper using the difference between the first signal and the second signal and the first coefficient stored in correspondence with the determined characteristic, and a second calculation unit calculating an expansion and contraction ratio of the first sheet of paper using the variation in water content.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a forming section that forms an image on a side of paper; a fixing section that applies heat to fix the image onto the side of the paper; a paper reversing section that reverses a front and back of the paper having the image fixed onto a first side in the fixing section; a first measuring section that is provided between a registration roller and the forming section to measure a first moisture content of the paper before an image is formed on the first side, and a second moisture content of the paper before an image is formed on a second side, after the image is fixed on the first side; and a calculating section that calculates amount of change of the size of the paper on the basis of the difference between the first moisture content and the second moisture content.

摘要： When a user who has a magnetic substance attached paper enters a gate which generates a magnetic field, steep magnetization reversal is produced in the magnetic substance by the magnetic field. As a result, pulse current flows into a detection coil provided in the gate, and a generated waveform signal indicating a characteristic transient response is output to a terminal device. The terminal device calculates correlation coefficients of this waveform and a plurality of stored reference waveforms, additionally calculates an average of the calculated correlation coefficients, and determines whether or not the average is equal to or more than a threshold. When the average is equal to or more than the threshold, the terminal device instructs an imaging device to image a user. When the average is below the threshold, the imaging device is not allowed to image the user.

摘要： A specific reflection area 42 on a paper surface 37a is irradiated with light from a light source 41 via nor not via a lens 43. A photoelectric conversion element 44 is placed on a focal surface in the rearward of the lens 43 and out of the light reflected (including scattering light and diffusion light) from the reflection area 42 on the paper surface 37a, only the whole light reflected within a predetermined angular range is received by the photoelectric conversion element 44 via the lens 43. The density of the image formed on the paper surface 37a is measured from the light reception output. When the paper surface 37a is irradiated with light from the light source 41 via the lens 43, the light source 41 is placed backward from the focal surface 43b in the rearward of the lens 43.
