    • Methods and apparatus improving availability of voice services controlled via IP signaling links provisioned over converged ATM and Ethernet converged network infrastructure are provided. A media gateway network element implements a Layer-2 signaling link end-to-end monitoring via heartbeat messages formulated at the ATM end to traverse the converged network infrastructure to the Ethernet end. The media gateway is provided with SPVC connectivity information and is made aware of network bridging in order to perform a Layer-2 switchover to a standby signaling link in re-establishing signaling link connectivity with a media gateway controller should a communications fault be detected. The advantages include codeployment with previous media gateway controller implemented techniques, and providing a reduction of overheads for media gateway controller implemented techniques while increasing availability by reducing exposure to service outages.

    • The present invention relates to a kind of electrodes touching mouse, especially one using the electrostatic induction caused by the finger pressure to operate the mouse function keys. The present invention consists of four conducting surfaces and an inner metal point wherein the four conducting surfaces represent the left, right, upper roller and down roller keys respectively operated by the static electricity emitted by the finger. The inner metal point is connected to the mouse circuit for reading of the circuit signal produced by the finger in touch with the conducting surface. Hence, the present invention provides a modern and original structure of adjoining key buttons using electric induction as power source. This structure is also dust and waterproof and makes no mechanical noise when in use.

    • The present invention relates to a touch type mouse structure, especially one using fingers to interrupt light and simultaneously press mouse function keys. The structure mainly consists of four pressing points matched with an inner light sensor wherein the four pressing points form a concave body, illuminating at the conducting bar at the concave edge. The bottom edge allows light to pass through for reaction of inner sensor. The inner sensor is surrounded by the conducting bar material on the outside and interrupting materials inside and is designed at the center of each pressing point and connected to the inner circuit of the mouse. Hence, the present invention provides a convenient and easy way to simultaneously press function keys and interrupt light for soundless control effect. It is the most modern design as there are no conjunctions between the touch keys interface, thus avoiding dust and other residue.
