    • The invention relates to a receiver system for an otological device. The receiver system has an oscillation receiver to receive a carrier signal with a carrier frequency. The receiver system is designed to change a receive frequency for the carrier signal. The receiver system has a frequency regulator which is designed to at least indirectly register the receive frequency and to change the receive frequency for the carrier signal to a predetermined receive frequency and to set it to the predetermined receive frequency. The frequency regulator is connected to the oscillation receiver at least at least indirectly and is designed to generate an excitation signal and to excite the oscillation receiver to oscillate by means of the excitation signal and thus to generate a response oscillation with a response frequency. The frequency regulator is also designed to ascertain the receive frequency depending on the response oscillation.

    • There is described an amplifier for a radio frequency signal for transmitting a transmit signal to an otological apparatus. The amplifier comprises at least one power transistor for switching an output signal. A breaker gap of the power transistor is actively connected to a network such that a power loss converted in the power transistor is at least partially reduced during a switchover into a switched-on state and/or at least during a switchover into a switched-off state. The breaker gap of the at least one transistor is at least indirectly connected in series to a power supply source by way of a choke coil. The amplifier comprises a transmit coil as an output load, with the transmit coil comprising an inductor and being actively connected to the power transistor. The transmit coil is coupled to the choke coil in a transformer-like manner, with the choke coil thus being able to transmit an output power to the transmit coil. The transmit coil can generate a transmit signal from the output power.

    • A method and an associated configuration transmit data between a hearing device and an external unit. A first data packet is transmitted to the hearing device by the external unit. The first data packet is received by the hearing device and a second data packet is transmitted from the hearing device to the external unit. A predefinable fixed period of time elapses between the end of the receipt of the first data packet and the start of transmission of the second data packet. The external unit thereby “knows” when the first bit of the second data packet is to arrive. This offers the advantage that the reliability of a data transmission is improved. In the case of a packet-oriented data transmission fewer data packet repetitions are required, as a result of which the transmission speed increases.
