    • A vacuum cleaner includes a first housing defining a cyclonic airflow chamber and a second housing defining a main suction opening that is in communication with an inlet of the cyclonic chamber. A suction source has a suction airstream inlet in communication with an outlet of the cyclonic chamber, and establishes a suction airstream that enters said main suction opening, passes through said cyclonic chamber, and passes to an outlet of said suction source. A substantial portion of particulates entrained in the suction airstream are separated therefrom when said suction airstream moves in a cyclonic fashion through the cyclonic chamber. A main filter assembly, preferably including filter medium comprising polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), is located in the cyclonic chamber so that a suction airstream moving from the main suction opening to the inlet of said suction source by way of the cyclonic airflow chamber passes through the filter medium thereof after said airstream moves in a cyclonic fashion within the cyclonic airflow chamber to remove residual particulates from the suction airstream before it leaves the cyclonic chamber. A HEPA filter can be provided to filter the suction airstream exhausted through the outlet of the suction source prior to the airstream being discharged from the vacuum.

In one embodiment, the applicator device includes a frame, a fluid supply passage connected with the frame, and a handle connected to the frame.     • A toothbrush sanitizer includes at least one basket for holding a toothbrush, a housing that receives the at least one basket, and a heating element connected to the housing. The basket(s) can also accommodate a toothbrush head from a known electric toothbrush. The basket can be completely removable from the housing so that the basket can be separately cleaned from the housing. The heating element heats the toothbrush to sanitize the bristles. According to an alternative embodiment, the toothbrush sanitizer can include a first toothbrush basket, a second toothbrush basket, a housing that receives the baskets, and a heating element connected with the housing.     • An air sterilizer for eliminating an associated airborne contaminant from an associated volume of air is provided. The air sterilizer includes a housing including an air inlet and an air outlet, an airflow pathway initiating approximately at the air inlet of the housing and terminating approximately at the air outlet of the housing, and an ultra-violet (UV) radiation source for producing a germicidal UV light. The UV source is disposed in the airflow pathway of the housing for exposing the associated airborne contaminant to the germicidal UV light. The air sterilizer further includes a reflecting member for increasing the exposure of the germicidal UV light to the associated airborne contaminant in the airflow pathway. The reflecting member being disposed in the housing proximal to the UV source. A power supply is provided for powering the UV source. The power supply is disposed within the housing and an electrical power plug assembly is secured to the housing and is in electrical communication with the power supply. The power plug assembly is selectively engageable with an associated electrical power receptacle and capable of supporting the air sterilizer when the power plug is selectively engaged with the associated electrical power receptacle.
