摘要： Controlling transient responses in power amplifiers may be accomplished in the following manner. Upon detecting an output power adjustment request, a reference level is accessed from memory, wherein the reference level is based on a previous output condition that is substantially equal to the requested output condition. From the reference level, a first response time is calculated and supplied to a control circuit of the power amplifier such that the power amplifier operates at a first gain level. When the first response time elapses, the power amplifier operates at a second gain level, where the first gain level is greater than the second gain level.

摘要： The compositions and methods are provided that enhance the selection of transgenic plants having two T-DNA molecules integrated into a plant genome at different physical and genetic loci. The compositions are DNA constructs that comprise novel arrangements of T-DNA molecules containing genes of interest, positive selectable marker genes, and conditional lethal genes. The methods disclosed herein comprises transforming a plant cell to comprise the DNA constructs of the present invention, regenerating the plant cell into a plant and identifying independent transgene loci, where the selectable marker genes or transgenic elements can be segregated in the progeny.

摘要： A multidielectric electrical filter is adapted for passing a primary electrical signal at a first frequency while attenuating higher frequency signals, most notably harmonic spurs. The filter comprises an elongated transmission line and one or more radial pads overlying a first surface of a dielectric support opposite a ground plate. The support is formed of a first dielectric material to achieve a desired capacitive coupling between the pad and the ground plate effective to attenuate the higher frequency signals. The support further comprises a region underlying the transmission line and containing a second dielectric material having a dielectric constant distinct from the first material. Preferably, the region includes one or more slots containing air to minimize the capacitive coupling between the transmisison line and the ground plate and thereby reduce insertion loss of the primary signal that would otherwise lessen the power of the signal to the antenna.

摘要： A computer-based method for administering performance of a contract uses a server accessible by multiple performing parties through a data network, such as the Internet. The method includes receiving performance data at the server from at least one of the performing parties through the data network. The performance data indicates an amount of work performed under the contract by the performing party, and may further include an amount of materials stored. A payment amount is determined based on the performance data. A schedule of values associated with performance of the contract may be initially stored, so that determining the payment amount is further based on comparing the performance data with the schedule of values. The payment amount is sent from the server to other performing parties through the data network. The other performing parties may be notified by an email indicating, for example, that the payment amount has been approved.
