    • A juice extractor may include a drive housing and a drive shaft extending outwardly therefrom to a juice extraction area. The juice extractor may further include a shaft seal that, in turn, includes a seal housing and at least one positioning ring contained within the seal housing and surrounding a corresponding drive shaft. The seal may also include at least one sealing ring contained within the seal housing adjacent the at least one positioning ring and surrounding the corresponding drive shaft. The at least one positioning ring may be radially spaced from the corresponding drive shaft when the corresponding drive shaft is aligned along the seal axis, and the at least one sealing ring may sealingly engage the corresponding drive shaft and be radially spaced from adjacent portions of the seal housing when the corresponding drive shaft is aligned along the seal axis.

    • A new type of airbag inflator is described. The airbag inflator includes a chamber that houses a quantity of inflation gas. The inflation gas is capable of filling and deploying an airbag. The inflator also includes a membrane that seals the chamber. A sliding baffle is also added to the inflator. The sliding baffle is positioned proximate the membrane. The sliding baffle has a membrane rupture mechanism and a plurality of gas flow holes. Upon initiation of the inflator, the sliding baffle slides to cause the rupture mechanism to fail the membrane. The rupture mechanism fails the membrane by detaching a single piece from the membrane. The single piece is sufficiently large such that it remains within the inflator (or within the sliding baffle) and does not pass through one of the gas flow holes.

    • An airbag module may have an inflator and a cushion that are coupled together via first and second retention features. The first retention feature may be a clip seated within a housing coupled to the inflator or the cushion, and may have a tubular shape with inwardly extending fingers. The second retention feature may be a flared tubular end insertable into interlocking engagement with the first retention feature. The retention features may be used to couple the cushion or inflator to a gas guide, or to couple the inflator directly-to an inflation tube attached to the fabric of the cushion. The retention features may also be used to couple a transportation cap to the inflator to disperse inflation gases along a thrust neutral pattern in the event of accidental discharge during shipping.
