摘要： A mobile computing device is provided that includes a front housing segment and a back housing segment. The front housing segment includes a first front slot and a first front securement feature or cleat. The back housing segment includes a first back slot and a first securement feature or cleat. The front housing segment and the back housing segment are positioned so that the first back securement feature is received and slideably engaged with the first front slot, and the first front securement feature is received and slideably engaged with the first back cleat. A combination of (i) the first back securement feature being received and slideably engaged with the first front slot, and (ii)the first front securement feature being received and slideably engaged with the first back securement feature, enable the front housing segment and the back housing segment to slide along a path that includes an extended position and a contracted position. As described with one or more embodiments, the path may be arced or otherwise include a radius of curvature.

摘要： A method of modifying a medical device such as a stent with nano-constructs is disclosed. The method comprises applying a first fluid to the stent; immersing the stent being wet from the first fluid into a second fluid having a suspension of nano-constructs; and removing the stent from the second fluid and allowing the first and second fluid to be removed such that the nano-constructs are carried by the stent for in vivo application of the constructs to a target location of a mammalian subject. The nano-constructs can be attached to the surface of the stent, can be attached to a surface of the coating of the stent, can be embedded into the stent, or can be embedded into the coating.

摘要： The present invention is directed to an implantable drug depot useful for reducing, preventing or treating post-operative pain in a patient in need of such treatment, the implantable drug depot comprising a therapeutically effective amount of clonidine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a polymer; wherein the depot is implantable at a site beneath the skin to reduce, prevent or treat post-operative pain, and the depot is capable of releasing (i) about 5% to about 45% of the clonidine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof relative to a total amount of the clonidine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof loaded in the drug depot over a first period of up to 48 hours and (ii) about 55% to about 95% of the clonidine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof relative to a total amount of the clonidine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof loaded in the drug depot over a subsequent period of at least 3 days.

The pad may be shaped to conform to the side and front of the table, and to an ophthalmic instrument mounted on the table. The attachment mechanism enables a user to remove the pad from the table, use the pad on another table, or reposition the pad on the table by lifting the pad by hand.

摘要： An earpiece-less lenticular eyeglass frame and removable retainer strap. Attachment mechanisms on each side of the lenticular frame enable a retainer strap to be directly connected to the frame. The retainer strap includes an end-piece at each end of the strap that is compatible with the two attachment mechanisms for attaching the strap to the frame and for removing the strap from the frame. A sliding clasp is used to adjust tension on the retainer strap for different activities such as reading or playing sports. A user may remove the retainer strap to interchange straps or to move the retainer strap from one pair of eyeglasses to another. The absence of earpieces makes the eyeglasses more comfortable, lightweight, less bulky, and less susceptible to damage.
