摘要： A configurable organizer is provided that is attachable to a computer monitor. The organizer includes a telescoping frame including a vertically extending main housing member and an auxiliary housing member connected to the main housing member. The auxiliary housing member is slideable in a vertical direction with respect to the main housing member and can be fixed at a plurality of vertical positions between a contracted position and an extended position. Desktop item-retaining implements are supported by the telescoping frame and, in particular, some are fixedly attached to the frame while others are modular, and thus removable and repositionable on the frame.

摘要： Handling of undeliverable mail is improved so that mailers may take appropriate action to respond to nondelivery of mailpieces. Returned mail is received from a postal authority. Each mailpiece of the returned mail was part of a respective mailing and was determined not to be deliverable by the postal authority. The mailer determines for each mailpiece at least one of (a) the respective mailing to which the mailpiece belonged and (b) the reason why the mailpiece was found to be undeliverable. The mailer selects a course of action based on one or both of the results of these determinations. Returned mailpieces may be sorted by the mailings from which they come.

A first component is a consolidator module receiving data corresponding to the plurality of messages to be processed. The consolidator module is programmed to select individual message do be consolidated into a single message package based on predetermined criteria. Exemplary consolidation criteria may include messages to be delivered to the same mailing address, messages having proximal due dates, messages for which the sender and recipient have authorized consolidation, messages for which marketing content is compatible, and messages for which business considerations are compatible. In a further preferred embodiment, the consolidator module is coupled to a customer relationship management system. The customer relationship management system is preferably used to determining at least some of the consolidation criteria and for generating a template for consolidated message packages.
