    • An end seal assembly for an aerial closure for protecting an electrical or optical cable splice. The end seal assembly includes a pair of end seal shell segments connectable to an end of the housing of the aerial closure. An elastomeric end seal has a unitary body including a pair of end seal elements hingedly secured together and provided with cutting guides to aid a lineman in forming cuts in the respective seal elements extending in opposite directions. Each seal element is deformable for mounting on a cable and pins adjacent each side of a cut formed in each seal element are received in sockets on the adjacent seal element to prevent deformation of the end seal after it has been secured to a cable and positioned in the end seal shells in the aerial closure housing. When an opening is formed in the end seal a corrugated portion of the body urges elongated sealing surfaces into engagement with a cable extending through the opening to permit movement of the cable relative to the aerial closure housing without destroying the integrity of the seal.

    • The machine, which may be a facsimile machine, stands on the floor and includes a roll of paper which runs over a stylus assembly, by means of which a pattern of electrostatic charges are formed on the paper, after which the paper is cut and fed downwardly toward the lower end of the machine where it is treated with toner, which is then fused to provide a fixed visible message thereon. The printed document is driven generally upwardly by a roller assembly onto a generally vertically oriented document-receiving tray which is elevated somewhat above the lowest level of the machine at a level which is comfortable for the operator. The tray has a V-shaped document-supporting base, and the apex of the V provides a ridge on which the documents are bent slightly to render them rigid and easy to stack. The roller assembly at the base of the tray is arranged to stiffen the document and facilitate its movement into the tray.
