摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring health indices in place of a method for standing on one foot with closed eyes by paying attention to the close interrelation between the delicate variation in a load on soles in the state of standing on both feet and the time of standing on one foot with closed eyes and by utilizing the same mechanism as a weight scale which is generally used at home.
SOLUTION: The method for measuring health indices is for measuring health indices of a subject by detecting the variation in a load on a step of the weight scale, calculating characteristic values of variation in the load in a prescribed period of time, and measuring the health indices of the subject based on the calculated characteristic values. The characteristic values of variation in the load are values corresponding to the area of a zone surrounded by a graph of the average of the load in the prescribed period of time and a graph of variation in the load. The above function is realized by utilizing the same mechanism as a home electronic weight scale and the processing of software.
