    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce noises during the drying operation of a drying/washing machine.
      SOLUTION: A casing 20 of a fan 12 is provided with an annular rib 21 made up of an elastomer 22 and a spindle 23 to eliminate noises as caused by the turbulence of the reversed flow and the main flow generated within the fan 12. Moreover, the annular rib 21 is utilized as a dynamic suction vibrator to reduce the vibration attributed to the imbalance of the fan 12. This can improve noise related performances of the fan 12, thereby enabling a reduction in noises during the drying operation while the drying performance of the washing/drying machine is maintained.
