Polyamide forming the polyamide fiber preferably contains the 1,9-nonanediamine unit and 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine unit as the diamine unit, and a mole ratio of the 1,9-nonanediamine unit and the 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine unit is preferably 99:1-40:60.
