SOLUTION: An air coolant heat exchanger 23 and the storage tank 30 are provided in a right and left direction of a separating plate 11. A part of the separating plate 11 is formed to be along a side surface of the storage tank 30. A center of gravity position 30A of the storage tank 30 is positioned at a back side of a center 10A in the casing 10 as well as a part of the storage tank 30 is provided to protrude to the back side of the casing 10 further than the air coolant heat exchanger 23.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater capable of providing stable support regardless of storing hot water or not storing hot water.
      SOLUTION: The heat pump water heater is equipped with a refrigerant circulation circuit 20 for circulating a refrigerant, a hot water storage tank 30 for storing hot water heated by a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 22, connection valves 32A-35A of a water supply pipe, a case body 10, a supporting plate 12 for supporting by forming an under surface of the case body 10, and case body supporting legs 13A-13E provided to the supporting plate 12 for installing the case body 10 on an installation surface. The hot water storage tank 30 and a compressor 21 are installed in the right and left directions, and the connection valves 32A-35A are arranged on the lower part at the front of the hot water storage tank 30. The case body supporting legs 13A-13C are substantially uniformly arranged on a further rear side than a virtual line 30B in the right and left direction passing through the center of gravity 30A of the hot water storage tank 30. The case body supporting legs 13D, 13E are arranged further toward the front side than the virtual line 30B. The case body supporting leg 13E on the hot water storage tank 30 side is provided in a further rear position than the case body supporting leg 13D on the compressor side.
