    • A system and method for synchronization of a supplier's production with a manufacturer's production is disclosed. A manufacturer's supply orders are submitted to suppliers during the manufacturer's production taking into account the time required to manufacture, transport, unload, stage, and move the supplies to a location at a production line. Associated with each supply order is a production delivery time that indicates when the supplies are needed at the manufacturer's facility. The supplier, upon receipt of the supply order, starts its manufacturing process to produce the requested supplies to meet the manufacturer's production delivery time. The supplies are then shipped from the supplier to the manufacturer's facility for use in the manufacturer's production line. Upon arrival at the manufacturer's facility, some supplies may be moved immediately to the production line. Other supplies may be moved within minutes or hours of arrival at the manufacturer's facility. In either case, supplies manufactured by the supplier during the production run are consumed by the end of the production run so that no inventory for certain supplies is maintained by the manufacturer.

    • A support system for a paper magazine has a support surface adjacent to a paper feed box. An upper paper guide and a lower paper guide are arranged over the support surface before a paper inlet of the paper feeder box. A pair of magazine guides are mounted on the support surface 3 for guiding both sides of the paper magazine during loading thereof. A lock cam can engage with and disengage from a cam engaging projection of the paper magazine, and is urged by the force of a spring to press the cam engaging projection towards the paper feeder box. A lever holding mechanism holds the lock cam in its unlocked position after a return movement of a swing arm is completed.

    • A system and method is disclosed for ordering, receiving, staging, and delivering supplies to assembly line locations in an assembly plant. Cross-dock and staging functions are combined at one facility—a super cross-dock—so that suppliers to a large-scale manufacturer with multiple assembly plants may make deliveries of supplies to a single facility that services the multiple assembly plants. Supplies from multiple suppliers are received at the super cross-dock and staged for distribution to the assembly plants that comprise a manufacturing operation. Supply order requests are submitted from assembly plant computer systems that consolidate the orders before submitting an order to a supplier. Orders are consolidated based on when supplies are required at the various assembly plants. A bar code labeling system at the suppliers supports the super cross-dock inventory and distribution of supplies according to delivery time and assembly plant.

    • The present invention provides a device for uniformly irradiating the surface of the negative film without making the size of the mirror tunnel larger. The invention also makes the size of the device smaller and reduces electric power consumption. A fly eye lens is used as a diffuser plate of the light incoming side of a mirror tunnel. The fly eye lens has a plurality of micro-lenses arranged on a transparent substrate for forming concave and convex shapes on the surface thereof facing the diffuser so as to lead the incident light into the mirror tunnel. Thereby, the light incident to the fly eye lens is hardly diffused out of the area of the mirror tunnel and the loss in the quantity of light is reduced. In addition, since the fly eye lens uniformly disperses the incident light onto the surface of the photo film, the light can be uniformly irradiated onto the surface of the photo film even if the incident light is not strongly diffused by the diffuser and the mirror tunnel. The first and second fly eye lenses and the first and the second condenser lenses are disposed in the optical path between the halogen lamp and the negative film. The light irradiated from the halogen lamp is made uniform by the first and the second fly eye lenses, and it is then condensed by condenser lenses, and then it is irradiated onto the original image on the negative film.
