摘要： A slit exposure type electrostatic copying apparatus having a photoreceptor surface wound on a rotatory drum movable along a path relative to a plurality of actuable processing stations disposed along the path and wherein the circumference of the photoreceptor drum is made slightly longer than the length of the maximum sized original with the diameter of the drum minimized to such an extent as to be sufficient to perform efficient copying. The machine is equipped with an automatic copy paper feeding mechanism from a roll of paper which can be switched over to a manual insertion by a simple operation, and is also provided with a supplementary light source so as to erase unnecessary charge on the non-latent image formed portion of the photoreceptor surface for better performance and prolonged life of the photoreceptor.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a can body for a two-piece can by multistage forming of a circular laminated steel sheet having a radius of R0 includes the steps of producing a form at least one time by using a laminated steel sheet coated with a polyester resin, which has a plane orientation coefficient of 0.06 or less, in such a way that the height h, the maximum radius r, and the minimum radius d of the form satisfy d≦r, 0.2≦d/R≦0.5, and 1.5≦h/(R−r)≦2.5, where R represents the radius of the laminated steel sheet having a weight equivalent to the weight of a final form; heating the resulting form at least one time at a temperature of 150° C. or higher, and lower than or equal to the melting point of the polyester resin; and working the heat-treated form into a form satisfying d≦r, 0.1≦d/R≦0.25, and 1.5≦h/(R−r)≦4. This method easily produces a can body for a laminated steel sheet two-piece can at a low cost without occurrence of peeling nor breakage of a resin.

摘要： The laminated steel sheet for two-piece can satisfies the relation of the height h of the final formed body, the maximum radius r thereof, the minimum radius d thereof, with the radius R of circular disk, before forming, having the same weight to that of the final formed body, as [0.1≦d/R≦0.25] and [1.5≦h/(R−r)≦4]. The laminated steel sheet has a polyester resin layer prepared by polycondensation of a dicarboxylic acid component and a diol component. The dicarboxylic component has terephthalic acid as the main ingredient, and the diol component has ethylene glycol and/or butylene glycol as the main ingredient. The quantity of copolymerizing ingredients is ranging from 8 to 16% by mole. The plane orientation factor of the resin is 0.06 or less.

摘要： The invention relates to a plated steel sheet for cans which must have high workability and corrosion resistance and can prevent bimetallic corrosion and a method of manufacturing the same. The plated steel sheet is manufactured by forming an electroplated chromium layer on the surface of a steel, removing a hydrated chromium oxide layer formed on the surface of the chromium layer, and forming an aluminum plating layer, so that the electroplated chromium layer and the aluminum plating layer are stacked in direct contact with each other. A laminated metal sheet for a two-piece can body, including a metal sheet having a polyester resin film layer on each side of the metal sheet, the polyester resin film layer to be the outside of the can body having a crystallization temperature of 60 to 100° C., and the surface of the polyester resin film layer having a center line surface roughness (Ra) of 0.2 to 1.8 μm. The polyester resin film layer to be the outside of the can body is preferably composed of 40 to 100% by mass of a resin composed mainly of butylene terephthalate and 0 to 60% by mass of a resin composed mainly of ethylene terephthalate.

摘要： A method to evaluate the corrosion resistance of a can to a content includes filling the can with the content to form a specimen, setting the specimen in an apparatus capable of blocking an outside atmosphere from entering the specimen, optionally saturating the content with nitrogen gas to expel dissolved oxygen present in the content, thereafter while maintaining the temperature of the content at a constant temperature in the range of 25 to 60° C., applying a constant potential that is more anodic than an immersion potential by 50 mV to 200 mV to the can of the specimen, and evaluating the corrosion resistance of the can to the content based on the accumulated amount of electricity generated during a time appropriately selected from 6 to 48 hours immediately after the application of the constant potential.
