    • A process for the production of an integral composite molded item including(i) a surface portion having a synthetic resin phase containing a fibrous reinforcing material,(ii) a core portion having the synthetic resin phase containing bubble-containing particles, and(iii) a separation layer positioned between the surface portion and the core portion, the process including the steps of:providing in a substantially sealed mold (1) a separation layer which does not substantially pass therethrough bubble-containing particles but which is capable of passing a synthetic resin or its precursor that is liquidized at the time of molding; (2) a synthetic resin or its precursor on either or both sides of the separation layer; (3) a fibrous reinforcing material between the separation layer and the mold, and (4) an aggregate of bubble-containing particles on the side of the separation layer opposite to the mold;causing volume expansion of the aggregate;causing the resin to flow through the separation layer to thoroughly disperse it between the separation layer, mold, and particles to fill any voids therebetween; andcompleting solidification of the resin to form the composite molded item.The type of the resin and the type of bubble-containing particles may be selected and combined differently.

    • A system comprise a management section, a plurality of terminal sections and a coaxial cable. The management section is provided with a predetermined number of video game units and video recorders. The management section further comprises a memory for storing a plurality of video game programs. Each of the video game units executes a video game program to generate a first audio and video signal varying in response to a control signal received from a terminal section. Each of the video recorders storing a plurality of video movies generates a second audio and video signal associated with a video movie. A user of a terminal section selects a desired service from the video games and the video movies. When a video game is selected, the video game program is downloaded into the available game unit provided in the management section. The game unit runs the game program in response to the control signal received from the terminal section where the user is operating a keypad. The video images and sound varying in response to the control signal is transmitted from the management section to the terminal section through the coaxial cable.

    • A roller shutter type storage container includes a container body, a roller shutter accommodating portion, a pair of guide grooves, and a roller shutter. Each of the guide grooves extends linearly in an opening formed in the container body and is curved in the roller shutter accommodating portion.
