    • A light-sensitive photographic element comprising a support and at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer coated thereon having associated therewith a magenta image dye-providing compound which releases a magenta dye or a precursor thereof corresponding to the imagewise exposure of said emulsion layer, said magenta dye-providing compound being a compound represented by formula [I]: ##STR1## wherein Car represents a carrier moiety which can be oxidized under alkaline conditions to release a diffusible dye or a precursor thereof from said compound;R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or different, independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms (provided that the total sum of carbon atoms in R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 does not exceed 5), or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may form, together with the nitrogen atom, ##STR2## X represents a hydroxyl group, a salt thereof or a group, which can be converted into a hydroxyl group by hydrolysis, having the following formula: ##STR3## in which R.sup.3 represents an alkyl or haloalkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms or a phenyl group which may be substituted; Y represents a ##STR4## group in which R.sup.4 and R.sup.5, which may be the same or different, independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a cycloalkyl group (provided that the total sum of carbon atoms in R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 does not exceed 6);Z represents a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom, a methyl group or a methoxy group;l is 1 or 2 provided that when l is 2 each Z may be the same or different;m is 0 or 1;andJ represents a bivalent linking group having the formula --R.sup.6 --(O).sub.n --R.sub.p.sup.7 -- in which R.sup.6 and R.sup.7, which may be the same or different, independently represent an alkylene group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, a phenylene group which may be substituted; n represents 0 or 1; p represents 0 or 1 provided that p is 1 when n is 1 and 1 or 0 when n is 0 (provided that, when p is 1, the total sum of carbon atoms in R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 does not exceed 13).

    • In a dye image forming process in color photography comprising imagewise exposing a photographic element comprising a support and a light sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and processing the exposed photographic element with an alkaline processing solution in the presence of a dye developer whereby a dye image corresponding to the imagewise exposure is formed by oxidation of said developer as a function of development of silver halide, the improvement which comprises the dye developer being a mono azo dye developer represented by the following formula:X--N.dbd.N--Y--NH--Zwherein X represents a monovalent group selected from an aromatic group, a non-aromatic-heterocyclic active-methylene-containing group, a non-aromatic-heterocyclic active-methyne-containing group, an aliphatic active-methylene-containing group, and an aliphatic active-methyne-containing group; and Y and Z respectively represent divalent and monovalent groups of an aromatic group, at least one of the X, Y and Z has therein at least one of the developer groups which are either capable of developing silver halide or changeable to a group capable of developing silver halide, the azo radical (--N=N--) and the secondary amino radical (--NH--) are respectively attached to the adjacent carbon atoms in Y, the azo radical being attached to an aromatic ring of the aromatic group of X or to the active methylene or methyne of X and is attached to an aromatic ring of the aromatic group of Y, and the amino radical is attached to aromatic rings of Y and Z.

    • The circuit breaker of this invention comprises a pair of stationary contactors 2, 3 which are respectively provided with stationary contacts 2a, 3a, a movable contactor 4 which includes a pair of movable contacts 4a and which is capable of bridging both the stationary contactors, a switching mechanism section 10 which operates when an overcurrent has flowed through the stationary contactors, a crossbar 5 which separates the movable contactor from the stationary contactors upon the operation of the switching mechanism section, a contact pressure spring 7 which is engaged with the crossbar at one end and with substantially the central part of the movable contactor at the other end and which urges the movable contactor toward the stationary contactors, and arc extinction chambers 8 which are respectively disposed near both the end parts of the movable contactor and which extinguish an arc struck at the separation of the movable contactor from the stationary contactors.
