    • In an image display device, a floating image display unit focuses light left from an image screen on an image plane in a space to display a floating image. The space is located on one side of an image transfer panel opposite to the other side thereof facing a display unit. A direct-view image display unit includes a display unit having an image screen on a plane orthogonal or oblique to the image plane from a periphery of the image plane and outputs, in a first direction far from the image transfer panel and in a second direction close thereto, two-dimensional images, respectively. A reflection and pass unit reflects part of the light left from the display unit in the second direction toward a direction far from the image transfer panel, and allows part of the light left from the display unit to pass therethrough.

    • There is provided a stereoscopic two-dimensional image display device including: a stereoscopic image display unit that includes a display unit having an image display surface that displays an image, and an image transmitting panel apart from the image display surface, and a stereoscopic two-dimensional image by imaging light emitted from the image display surface, on an imaging surface at a side opposite to the display unit with respect to the image transmitting panel; a position detecting sensor that outputs an output signal corresponding to a position of a detection target inserted to the imaging surface; and a control unit that changes the image displayed on the image display surface in accordance with the output signal from the position detecting sensor so as to change the stereoscopic two-dimensional image displayed on the imaging surface. A user interface region is formed on a peripheral portion of the imaging surface.

The polymerization inhibitor solution used in the present invention is stable, generates little precipitate and is prepared using a low purity (meth)acrylic acid solution from the process for producing (meth)acrylic acid.

A first image, which is one image of an object viewed from two different directions, is displayed on one 21a of the adjacent image display units 21 and 21, while a second image, which is another image of a display object, i.e., the object, viewed from the two different directions, is displayed on another one 21b of the adjacent image display units 21 and 21.
