    • An elevator door control apparatus according to the present invention includes a driver for driving an elevator door; a torque detector, connected to the driver, for detecting torque command values during driving and the maximum torque command value; a standard door memory; an optimal door speed calculator for calculating an optimal door speed from the standard door values stored in memory and from the torque command values detected by the torque detector; and a door speed command for outputting a speed command signal to the driver, based on the door speed calculated by the optimal door speed calculator.

    • An elevator system and a speed governor detecting first over-speeds of different values set for different moving directions of an elevator car. The speed governor includes a fly weight speed governing mechanism on a sheave on which a speed governing rope is wound and operates in both ascending and descending modes of the elevator car, and a fly ball speed governing mechanism coupled with a horizontal shaft of the sheave via a clutch mechanism. The clutch mechanism transmits the torque of the sheave to a second shaft of the fly ball speed governing mechanism when the sheave rotates in a forward direction, and disengages the transmission of the torque to the second shaft when the sheave rotates in a reverse direction.

    • In an elevator apparatus, a main rope suspending a car and a balance weight is looped around a traction sheave and a driven sheave of a traction machine. A driving-side speed detecting portion for detecting rotational speed of the traction sheave and a driven-side speed detecting portion for detecting rotational speed of the driven sheave are electrically connected to an operation control device. The operation control device includes a determination portion determining presence or absence of an abnormality in an elevator by calculating speed difference between rotational speeds of the traction sheave and the driven sheave and comparing the speed difference to a fixed reference value, set in advance, and a control portion for controlling the operation of the elevator based on information from the determination portion.

    • The invention concerns a door structure for an elevator which allows a service engineer to easily adjust a gap between a vibration damping engaging mechanism on a cage sliding door, the width of which varies through the opening/closing operation of the cage sliding door, and each of vibration damping members spaced predetermined distances apart from both sides of the vibration damping engaging mechanism. In the door structure, the vibration damping engaging mechanism includes movable engaging vanes spaced predetermined distances apart from the vibration damping members. The movable engaging vanes are operated such that when the sliding door is present near to the full close and open positions, the spaces are larger than those when the sliding door is present in the middle of the opening/closing stroke of the sliding door.
