摘要： A method of transferring an image to a receiver in a thermal transfer printer including a printing head having a plurality of heating elements for effecting one-line printing by selectively driving the heating elements on the basis of transfer data. While a recording medium is moved with respect to the heating elements during the one-line printing period, the printing based on the same one-line transfer data is effected by driving each heating element the same consecutive number of times in a plurality of different positions within the width of one-line pitch.

摘要： An apparatus and method for enabling a device to notify a main server of a diagnosis result in a network system having a main server and the device connected to the main server is provided. The device stores diagnosis items and diagnosis execution information to diagnose with respect to the diagnosis items at an initial network configuration phase. Upon receiving a diagnosis execution item to be substantially diagnosed among the diagnosis items, the device delivers a diagnosis result of the diagnosis execution item to the main server using the diagnosis execution information. As the main server has only to send the diagnosis execution information to the device only once, so the load on the main server can be reduced.

摘要： A network system for sending a scan and/or print job to multiple network destinations based on a single request. In one example, ajob distribution server module receives a scan or print job request from a computer system or a peripheral device, such as a multi-function peripheral (MFP) device. The request may include image data to be sent to multiple network destinations, such as, for example, printers, fax machines, computers, email addresses and the like. The server module formats and sends the data to each of the network destinations, which may process the job at substantially the same time. In certain embodiments, the server module provides the user with a graphical interface for selecting network destinations to be associated with a particular virtual port or virtual printer. Furthermore, embodiments of the system allow for sending of scan jobs directly from the peripheral device.
