摘要： A head-mounted image display device with a good operability and a data processing apparatus including such a display device. A head-mounted image display device wherein a liquid crystal panel and an enlarging optical system are housed in a frame and wherein images generated on the liquid crystal display panel through the enlarging optical system are visible in the field of view in front of the frame comprises a first direction detection means (107) disposed in part of the frame (101) for detecting the direction of the user's head; an observation point detection means (109) disposed in part of the frame for detecting the user's line of sight; a trigger input means (4) for transmitting trigger signals; and an image generation means (3, 105) for controlling images generated on the liquid crystal display panel based on signals from the first direction detection, observation point detection, and trigger input means.

摘要： A disk drive zone access method for recovering from a zone miss of a disk drive head(s) is used with media that has a plurality of zones each having different data recording frequencies. Data is read with a variable reference synchronizing frequency that can be set to match any one of the data recording frequencies. The method comprises 1) defining a memory space to stores zone miss history in alternative memory spaces according to the head seek direction at the time of a zone miss; 2) referencing the one zone miss history that corresponds to the present head seek direction; 3) estimating a candidate zone where the head is/are most likely to be, based on the zone miss history; 4) setting the variable reference synchronizing frequency to the data recording frequency of the candidate zone; and 5) updating zone miss history in the memory space with the present zone miss data according to the head seek direction at the time of the zone miss.

摘要： The invention provides a method of reproducing image data in a network projector system, and a network projector system, which can conveniently process image data that includes moving pictures at low cost and display images through a projector. A network projector system of this invention is structured by servers, a projector, and a network which connects the servers and the projector. While deleting unnecessary data, the projector downloads parts of image data to be displayed and an application from specified servers, processes the image data, and forms and displays an image.
