    • A small-diameter resin tube connecting structure used as a small-diameter tube connector is provided. The connector comprises: a main body including therein a small-diameter chamber continuous with a communication hole defined by the connecting cylindrical wall at the top end of the main body and a large-diameter chamber formed behind the small-diameter chamber; and a socket having repulsive walls each in the form of a pawl wall and formed integral with, or separately from, the outer periphery of the connector main body whereby the repulsive walls of the socket are brought into engagement with an annular bulged wall of the target resin tube. Further, a thin-wall metallic tube having an annular bulged wall is inserted into at least the connecting end of the resin tube with the metallic tube serving as a reinforcing member for the resin tube. The resin tube may have the annular bulged wall together with the metallic tube by press-working the inserted metallic tube in the axial direction. The connector of the present invention can securely maintain the connection of the target small-diameter tube with the connector for a prolonged period of time, increase the resistance against the draw-out force and manufacture easily and in a simple manner without enlarging the size thereof.

    • A disk controller for a plurality of disk drives is disclosed. This controller includes a plurality of first memory units, the number of which is equal to the number of the disk drives and each of which stores a group number representative of a kind of the associated disk drives, and further includes a plurality of sets of second memory units, the number of which is equal to the number of the kinds of the disk drives and each of which stores control parameters used for controlling the associated kind of the disk drives. One of the first memory units is accessed in response to a disk drive selecting signal and one of the sets of second memory units is selected in response to the group number read out from the accessed first memory units. The controlled parameters stored in the selected set of second memory units are thereby read out to control the disk drive.

    • A signal distribution system includes a plurality of functional blocks, at least one bus signal distribution block, at least one bus, and a bus control circuit. The functional blocks are divided into a plurality of groups each of which receives bus signals of the same type. The bus signal distribution block distributes a bus signal received from a transmission source functional block to a transmission destination functional block. The bus is connected between the bus signal distribution block and the functional blocks and has division buses arranged in units of groups of the functional blocks. The bus control circuit controls the bus signal distribution block to select one of the division buses connected to a transmission destination group on the basis of an address signal received from the transmission source functional block and transmit the received bus signal to the transmission destination functional block in the transmission destination group through the selected division bus.

    • A bus control system includes a handshake control circuit connected to receive an information transfer request signal from a data bus and to generate an information receipt acknowledge signal. The handshake control circuit operates to control a handshake between the information transfer request signal and the information receipt acknowledge signal. A first in-first out type memory is coupled to the data bus and is controlled by the handshake control circuit so as to receive information from the data bus and to output information to the data bus. In addition, the memory outputs an empty signal when the memory is empty, and the empty signal is supplied to the handshake control circuit. A counter is provided to be preset with an information transfer number and coupled to receive the information receipt acknowledge signal generated by the handshake control circuit so as to count the number of the information transfers executed and to generate a transfer completion ready signal when the information transfers of the number less than the preset number of the information transfer by one have been executed. Furthermore, an information receipt acknowledge hold control circuit is coupled to receive the transfer completion ready signal. The information receipt acknowledge hold control circuit operates to control the handshake control circuit, after the transfer completion ready signal is activated, so as to cause the handshake control circuit to hold the information receipt acknowledge signal in an active condition after the information receipt acknowledge signal in correspondence to a last information transfer is activated and until the empty signal is activated to indicate the emptiness of the memory.
