摘要： Unit with at least one plate made of a material, which material is permeable to thermal radiation, such as glass ceramic, glass, ceramic or a similar material, as a surface for cooking, frying and/or keeping warm. The unit with at least one plate is on a frame construction with different types of adjustable heat sources distributed underneath and on the plate. Some of the heat sources are distributed under the plate in the form of radiant burners and act indirectly by radiation through the plate. Other heat sources are located above the level of the plate in the form of open atmospheric or atmospheric pressure gas burners and transmit heat directly by producing open flames. The respective heat sources correspond to the cooking, frying and/or warming positions. Whereby, the at least one height-equalizing, plate-shaped, modular top part, which top part sits on a portion of the frame on which the plate lies, can be securely fastened to the frame of the unit, and also has heat sources distributed under its plate and acting indirectly by radiation through the plate, permits all the cooking, frying and/or warming positions to lie in a plane of equal height. The plane of equal height is defined by the height of the open, atmospheric gas burners located above the level of the plate or by their corresponding pot grates. The plates form two planes parallel to one another and the height of which plates is different.

摘要： The invention is directed to a cooktop unit for mounting in a frame structure or in a cutout of a work surface. The cooktop unit includes a plate made of glass ceramic and this plate defines the cooking surface. The cooktop unit also includes a metal frame permanently-elastically connected by a silicone adhesive to the lower side in the peripheral region of the plate. A leg of the holding frame connected to the cooktop plate extends flush from the edge of the plate inwardly and parallel to the plate and then bends downwardly at right angles to the plate. The adhesive effects the force-tight connection or bond between the plate and the holding frame. The adhesive defines a peripheral silicone flange at the lateral edges of the plate and at the lateral edge of the leg cemented to the plate. This silicone flange terminates flush with the surface of the plate and projects beyond the lower edge of the leg connected to the plate to form a sealing lip.

摘要： The method produces a reshaped glass-ceramic article by forced reshaping of a flat green glass part during a ceramicizing process with temporarily lowered viscosity due to crystallization heat. To perform the forced reshaping economically the forced reshaping takes place in a continuous oven for ceramicizing and in an oven section in which the viscosity of the green glass part is temporarily lowered as a result of crystallization heat. An apparatus for performing the process is provided in the continuous oven including different active reshaping devices and/or a hollow mold. The method produces glass-ceramic articles with undamaged surfaces corresponding to surfaces produced during the making of the green glass part (smooth or structured, e.g. knobbed).

The attachment frame is a standardized component that is connected with the lower plate edge. The visual frame serves as protection edge and upper closing. In this way a frame modular system can be put together for all applications in a simple, economical manner.
