摘要： A method for transporting a sheet on a ferromagnetic transport belt which includes spacing a first switchable retaining device adjacent the ferromagnetic transport belt. The first switchable retaining device is used to position a magnetic retaining element, for example, a permanent magnet, on a sheet that is adjacent the transport belt. The magnet is released from the first switchable retaining device and is fixedly adhered to the transport belt. The sheet, which is caught between the magnet and the transport belt, is fixed to the transport belt and is transported to a second switchable retaining element that removes the magnet. The invention also encompasses a device including a first switchable retaining device that cooperates with the transport belt in the manner described.

摘要： A printing press has a plurality of in-line printing units in which substrates are transported along a rectilinear transport path. The printing units include several recto printing units and several verso printing units disposed along the transport path. A transport system, which transports the substrates through the printing units along the straight transport path, includes a first transport apparatus through the recto printing units, and a second transport apparatus through the verso printing units. A feeder assembly feeds the substrates to be printed from a feeder pile to the transport system. The feed by the feeder also follows a straight path which is coplanar with the path through the printing units. It is thus possible to print not only bendable substrates, but also rigid and stiff substrates such as carton, plastic, sheet metal, glass, and the like. The system further includes a turning apparatus for turning the substrates between the recto printing units and the verso printing units.

摘要： Device for feeding and further processing printing material in sheet-fed rotary printing presses includes a paper storage having a roller pair for conveying sheets out of the paper storage and a feed table movable relative to the paper storage. An optical detection device for detecting mis-fed sheets is disposed in the paper storage behind the roller pair and forward of the feed table. A transport roller and an intermediate gear wheel for driving the transport roller are mounted in the feed table. A device is disposed in the feed table for removing mis-fed sheets, and includes a shaft, at least two remover rollers rotatably mounted on the shaft, and an upper guide plate and a lower guide plate disposed adjacent the remover rollers. The guide plates, respectively, are formed with recesses and define therebetween a travel path for the sheets. The remover rollers dip into the recesses, and are cooperatively associated with the transport roller for removing mis-fed sheets.

摘要： A device conveys and aligns sheets on a feed table of a printing machine having a single-sheet feeder, an aligning section, and a conveying device revolving on shafts for conveying the sheets in a direction across the aligning section to feed rollers for feeding the sheets to an impression cylinder. Bearings are secured to side frames of the feed table so as to be cyclically adjustable in elevation. The shafts are rotatably mounted in the bearings and are cyclically displaceable laterally to the sheet-conveying direction. A guide device is secured in the side frames. A feed plate is carried by the guide device above the feed table and is laterally adjustable with respect to the position thereof on the guide device. The conveying device includes a revolving conveyor device disposed below the feed plate. The feed plate is formed with aligning edges disposed laterally forward of and behind the revolving conveyor device and constitutes a lateral aligning limit. A lower edge of the feed plate extends contact-free over the revolving conveyor device.
