摘要： The present invention relates generally to a tester and related methods for testing vehicular safety restraint systems, and more particularly, to testers and related methods for testing airbag suppression systems. A tester or method for testing an airbag suppression system according to the invention simulates movement of a vehicle occupant into a suppression zone by causing an occupant model to move toward the suppression zone, wherein a generally rotational motion and a generally linear motion of the occupant model are independently controllable by a positioning assembly. A control assembly according to the invention is able to identify the actual position of the occupant model at the time the suppression system detects the occupant model entering the suppression zone. This position may be used to evaluate the performance of the suppression system.

摘要： The disclosure describes systems and methods that pertain to interactions between a vehicle and an occupant within the vehicle. More specifically, various systems and methods for enhancing the decisions of automated vehicle applications (collectively “decision enhancement system”) are disclosed. In a safety restraint embodiment, a sensor is used to capture various sensor readings. Sensor readings are typically in the form of images. Occupant information, such as location attributes, motion attributes, and occupant category attributes can be obtained from the sensor readings. Such information can then used by the system to enhance the decisions made by various automated applications.

摘要： A camera assembly generally includes a camera housing and a lens barrel. The camera housing has a receptacle portion that has a bore with an inside diameter. The lens barrel has a mating shaft portion with an outside diameter that is smaller than the inside diameter of the bore of the receptacle portion. The bushings are positioned around the mating shaft portion of the lens barrel to create an interference fit between the lens barrel in the bore of the receptacle portion to axially align the lens barrel with the receptacle portion.

摘要： An adjustable mounting and method for a wall hanging utilizes a disc mounting element secured to the wall with a threaded fastener passing through an eccentrically located hole. The disc is rotated to bring the top of a groove to a desired position and the fastener tightened to secure the disc in the adjusted position. The wall hanging has one or more supports which are engaged with the top of the disc perimeter. A peripheral groove engaging the support may be defined by continuous flared sides or two series of offset outwardly flared teeth. A stepped depth groove can better engage toothed supports.
