摘要： Disclosed is a traffic information distribution apparatus 1 including date-time information in traffic information acquired by the traffic information acquire unit 12 or generated by the traffic information prediction unit, and accumulates the traffic information in the traffic information DB 13. When the traffic information distribution apparatus 1 receives distribution request information transmitted from the in-vehicle terminal 5, based on date-time information of reference traffic information held by the in-vehicle terminal 5 included in the distribution request information, the traffic information distribution apparatus 1 retrieves traffic information including the same date-time information as the date-time information of the reference traffic information from the traffic information DB 13. Then, difference traffic information generation unit 18 generates difference traffic information between the retrieved traffic information and traffic information to be distributed, and the traffic information distribution apparatus 1 distributes the generated difference traffic information to the in-vehicle terminal 5.

摘要： A traffic information processing apparatus for alleviating the problem of discrepancy between a plurality of traffic information which may be acquired from different sources is disclosed. In the case where a plurality of traffic information are acquired, the information are corrected into reference traffic information selected from the plurality of the traffic information. For example, the traffic information processing apparatus acquires first traffic information (VICS information) used for the navigation process and second traffic information (probe traffic information) having a different source from the first traffic information. From the first and second traffic information, the traffic information for a common object is extracted, and based on the difference between them, the correcting information used for correcting the second traffic information is generated. The traffic information on an object not contained in the first traffic information is acquired by correcting the second traffic information on the object using the correcting information.

摘要： There is provided a method for displaying traffic information, a navigation system, and a program for displaying the traffic information. A data processing unit receives a specified time 1203, which is a future or current time, through an operation input unit, specifies an area of a map to be displayed, and then obtains map data of the specified area from a map data storage unit. The data processing unit obtains traffic information 1201 of the specified time from a traffic information storage unit, and then makes the display unit show links in association with the traffic information 1201. It is, therefore, possible to display the traffic information of an arrival time at each point on a route in a user-friendly manner.
