摘要： PURPOSE:To assure high accuracy trimming by forming an electrically independent resistor film component by a kerf without its corner where starting and end points ot the trimming are located outside the resistor film. CONSTITUTION:An electrically independent resistor film component is formed, trimmed by a kerf 6 of a shape without any corner where starting and end points of the trimming are located outside a resistor film 3. Accordingly, the resistor film part has no portion where any microcrack might be produced and further the kerf directed intersecting an axis connecting between a pair of terminal electrodes 1, 2. For this, there is prevented any electrical discharge which might be produced between the resistor film 3 fractions through the kerf, and hence no large change in resistance is produced. Further, the kerf 6 fractions respectively opposite to a pair of the terminal electrodes 1, 2 have arcuate shapes projecting against the electrodes. Accordingly, portions in the vicinity of the starting and end points of the trimming is located away from a current path extending between the pair of the terminal electrodes. Thus, a rate of a change in the resistance corresponding to a predetermined amount of the trimming is reduced compared with other parts, and assures high accuracy trimming.
