摘要： PURPOSE:To enable vertical grinding of a pipe easily and accurately along with a uniform and highly accurate plane grinding capability by arranging a grinding roller made up of several sheets of abrasive cloths compressed in layers and an inner wheel for fixing the inside of the roller connected thereto. CONSTITUTION:This grinding device is composed of a cylindrical grinding roller 5 and an inner wheel 6 securely fitted into both ends of the inner surface of the roller. The roller 5 is made up of several rectangular abrasive clothes 7 with a roughly wedge-shaped cross-section compressed radially in layers. The inner wheel 6 securely connect the inner ends of separate abrasive clothes 7, 7... of the roller 5 with strong members such as metal ring. The specified number of the abrasive clothes 7 of the roller 5 are piled one upon another depending on the shape of wedge and clamped by an even force through tightening bands from the circumference threof whereby they are compressed intensely in layers. This facilitates vertical grinding of a pipe along with a uniform and highly accurate plane grinding.
