    • A system for controlling the folded or erected rearview mirror position selectively by turning reversible motors (23,24) incorporated in the rearview mirrors by operating an operation switch (22) in the cabin of a motor vehicle, includes a door lock controller (10) locking the doors of the motor vehicle by an outer door lock (13,14) switch or inner door lock switch (15,16), a controller (20) for controlling the folded rearview mirrors, and switches (25-28) for detecting the folded or erected rearview mirror position mounted in the rearview mirror turning parts, in which electrically foldable rearview mirror system interlocked with door locks said controller (20) for controlling the folded rearview mirrors including a driving circuit changing over said reversible motors (23,24) between regular and reverse rotations, and a micro computer controlling said driving circuit by processing the inputs from said switches. The rearview mirrors are folded or erected as a top priority by operating the operation switch (22) after the ignition switch (21) is actuated.

    • An electrical driving system for the rearview mirrors of a vehicle, wherein incorporated motors (MR, ML) are rotated normally or reversibly in response to the operation of an operational switch (10), thereby erecting or folding the mirror bodies. The system comprises a momentary operational switch (10), a relay circuit (31, 32), a group of limit switches (41L, 41R, 42L, 42R) for cutting off the relay circuit and motor circuit (35, 36), respectively, by detecting erected and folded positions of the mirror bodies, and a circuit (50) for judging a folded state. When the operational switch is pushed, any folded mirror is detected within the delay time of the circuit for judging a folded state. And only when both of the left and right mirror bodies are in the folded positions, the erecting relay (Ry1) is actuated to rotate the motors in the erecting direction.

    • The device opens or closes a number of switch elements used when an electrically-driven automobile mirror is remotely operated, or in a similar operation, by the use of a single or a divided actuating member, and which has for its object a reduction of the space occupied by such switches on an automobile control panel. For that purpose, stationary contact pairs are printed symmetrically around the periphery of a specific central position on an insulated substrate which constitutes a stationary contact structure. A movable contact, which can electrically short circuit each of the contact pairs when pressed down, is provided on the surface of the structure. One or more actuating members, each provided on the surface of the control panel, have a pressure surface for pressing together the corresponding switch elements comprising one of the stationary contact pairs and the movable contact, and a device is provided for automatically resetting each of the elements when the surface is not pressing it.
