摘要： Skate-type ski permits safe, low-friction and easily controllable and steerable forward movement both on flat ice surfaces and on hard, compacted snow and névé surfaces. The skate-type ski has a flat, rigid running part (10) with a front end directed away from the flat running surface (11). A ski binding (40), known per say is fixed on the running part (10) either directly or indirectly via a carrier plate (30) in order to connect a boot (45) releasably and rigidly to the running part (10) both by the boot toe (46) and by the heel section (47). Two metal runners (20) are imbedded in the underside of the running part (10) and project beyond the running part (11) thereof, and extend uninterruptedly over the entire length of the running surface (11), parallel and at a distance from the lateral surfaces (15) of the running part. At the front end (33) these metal runners (30) are recessed into the rising front end (13) of the running part with no transition.
