    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable radio communication device with a hinge incorporating a characteristic object rotatable from a closing position to an opening position.
      SOLUTION: The foldable device, for example, the radio communication device has a first housing 110, which is rotatably connected with a second housing 120 to rotate from the closing position 103 to the opening position 200. The first housing is displaced from the second housing at the opening position 200 by an angle. The first housing moves from a first closing position 101 to a second closing position 103 for the second housing. The first housing can rotate centered on a rotary shaft 106 for the second housing from the second closing position. In one embodiment, the foldable housing includes a slidable member, which is rotatably connected with the hinge to allow the first housing to move from the first closing position to the second closing position.

    • Disclosed are methods and devices of a slider form factor device including two housings. The top surface of a lower housing may include a QWERTY keypad, or a display screen of any type. The top surface of an upper housing may include a display screen. The device is configured to allow the bottom face of the upper housing to slide with respect to the top face of the lower housing until a limit of travel is reached. At the end of travel, the lower housing and the upper housing do not overlap. The upper housing drops down so that its top face is contiguous with the top face of the lower housing. Moreover, the upper housing is tilted with respect to the lower housing by a predetermined angle. In this way, the upper housing and the lower housing may abut to form substantially contiguous surfaces.

    • Disclosed are devices, user interfaces and methods thereof, that include a touch sensitive surface configured to receive user input, the touch sensitive surface collocated with at least a portion of the keypad and disposed proximal keycaps corresponding to the portion of the keypad. A track of a particular shape is superimposed on the keycaps of the portion of the keypad collocated with the touch sensitive surface, the particular shape of the track configured to direct user input along the touch sensitive surface. In one embodiment, the track is curved and the finger of a user may be guided along the track. For example, a tactile feature of the track may be a height difference between the track and the keycaps. In one embodiment, the particular shape of the track can be configured to direct user input to the touch sensitive surface for scrolling through a list displayed on the display.
