      SOLUTION: This enlarging head has such a configuration that a fluid pressure cylinder is incorporated in a head rod 4 in a lower end part of the excavation working rod, a fluid flow passage of one system for supplying pressure fluid into the cylinder from the outside is vertically communicated with the excavation working rod, and the enlarging blade 5 extended and contracted by driving the fluid pressure cylinder is provided in an outer peripheral part of the head rod 4. The enlarging blade 5 is closed and contracted by operating a fluid flow passage change-over valve 7 for the fluid pressure cylinder by a striker moving by following vertical movement of a piston 14 of the fluid pressure cylinder incorporated in the head rod 4 or the cylinder 17.

Then the rotation assisting devices of the rotary press-fitting machine for the columnar member, are vertically movably supported by the leader mast. Each rotation assisting device is comprised of a rotary body and an annular rocking body arranged concentrically with each other in an individually rotatable manner; a rocking driving means for rocking the rocking body; a one-way clutch mechanism for connecting the rocking body and the rotary body together at the time of rocking of the rocking body in one direction in order to transmit the rocking to the rotary body but canceling the connection at the time of rocking of the rocking body in the other direction; a vertically moving means for vertically moving the rotation assisting device; and a connecting means for detachably connecting the rotary body to the output shaft of the rotation driving section.
