    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine having a metering device used for sending a predetermined accurate amount of a molten material into each mold hole.
      SOLUTION: This injection molding machine 10 is equipped with a first manifold 12 having a first manifold passage 14 which has a first discharge port for sending a first melt flow into the first nozzle passage 52 of a nozzle 30, a second manifold 22 having a second manifold passage 24 which has a second discharge port 29 for sending a second melt flow into the second nozzle passage 54 of the nozzle, the mold hole 60 communicating with the nozzle passages through a molding gate 34, and the on-off mechanism of the molding gate and an injection piston 70 extending into the passage between the first discharge port and the first nozzle passage. The injection piston has the outer wall being in contact with the inner wall of the passage and can be moved through the passage. The melt arranged in the melt chamber 78 of the first nozzle passage is allowed to flow in the mold hole by the movement of the injection piston.

    • A nozzle system is provided for an injection molding machine. The nozzle system includes a nozzle tip that is removably connected to a nozzle body with a sealing and mounting sleeve element. The nozzle body includes a first connector for releasably connecting with a second connector defined on the sleeve. The sleeve element further includes an alignment bearing for engaging a bearing surface defined on the nozzle body for precisely locating the nozzle tip within the nozzle body along on a predetermined axis. Further embodiments of the invention provide a valve pin disposed in the nozzle body and nozzle tip. The valve pin includes a bearing surface for engaging a guiding surface defined on the second melt channel for aligning the end of the valve pin with a mold gate. Further embodiments also provide an integrally connected nozzle tip and sleeve element.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding system for performing the dynamic control of the amount of a plastic injected according to an injection cycle.
      SOLUTION: This injection molding system is equipped with a manifold and a valve gate type hot runner nozzle. A gate mechanism is equipped with a valve drive shaft and a molding gate opening part is opened when a valve stem is present at a first position so that a melt flows. The molding gate opening part is closed when the valve stem is present at a second position so as to suppress the flow of the melt. A flow rate control shaft is positioned in a molten fluid material and located in the melting route of the nozzle to become the same axis as the valve stem or located in the melting route of the manifold. The flow rate control shaft has a head part having the shape fitted to the shape of the melting route in a flow rate control surface and moved up and down by a drive mechanism independently of the movement of the valve stem so as to suppress or open the flow of the molten flow material.

    • In a manifold, the valve pin has a sealing surface proximate its bottom end, which surface is engageable with a gate sealing surface to inhibit melt flow into the cavity. A first guidance and alignment structure is connected to the valve pin, and a second structure to the mould block upstream from the gate. Both structures include first and second guide surfaces of a diameter decreasing gradually in a downstream direction and first and second cylindrical alignment surfaces. The first guide surface is positioned immediately downstream from the first alignment surface, the second guide surface immediately upstreams from the second alignment surface. The second guide surface is positioned to complete alignment of the valve pin with the gate prior to contact between valve pin and gate. Further, it is positioned to engage the first alignment surface to maintain the valve pin in alignment with the gate during its movement towards the gate.
