摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the composition having a good moldability and a good balance between rigidity and impact strength by heat mixing a specified crystalline polypropylene with a copolymer of propylene with a vinyl-terminated alpha,omega-diene. CONSTITUTION:The composition is prepared by heat mixing a crystalline polypropylene of a syndiotactic pentad fraction of 0.7 or above with a copolymer of propylene with a vinyl-terminated alpha,omega-diene. The crystalline polypropylene which can be used includes random and block copolymers of propylene with another olefin such as ethylene, butene-1 or hexene-1 as well as a propylene homopolymer so far as they are crystalline. The syndiotactic polypropylene has a molecular weight of about 0.1-20dl/g in terms of a limiting viscosity number [eta] as measured in the tetralin solution at 135 deg.C and has a content of another olefin of 0.50wt.%.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide polypropylene having a high dielectric breakdown voltage of a molding body and excellent in electric characteristic and physical balance. CONSTITUTION:In polymerizing polypropylene, an acquiring quantity of polypropylene is set to 300,000g/g-Ti or more with respect to titanium in a catalyst. Such a polymer insulating material is used in which ash content obtained by completely burning polypropylene is 40wt.ppm or less, titanium in the ash composition is 1wt ppm or less, chloride included in the polypropylene is 2wt ppm or less, and a boiling n-heptan soluble content ranges from 1wt.% to 10wt.%. Inorganic oxide or hydride not including particles of a diameter of 10lm or larger and having an average particle diameter of 1lm, organic polysilane, graft polypropylene maleic anhydride, and a silane compound including an organic polyether group are added to the polypropylene, thus further enhancing dielectric breakdown resistance.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the subject catalyst excellent in polymerization activity by treating a specific solid catalyst component with an organoaluminum com pound and then subjecting the resultant component to the contact treatment with a compound to be a stable anion. CONSTITUTION:The objective catalyst is obtained by supporting a transition metal compound of formula I or II (A, B, A' and B' are ligand; R is a linear saturated hydrocarbon residue, etc.; M is a metal atom selected from groups IV and V of the periodic table; X is a ligand containing a halogen, C, N, O, Si, P or S) on a fine granular solid component having Lewis acidity such as a magnesium halide, treating the resultant solid catalyst component with an organometallic compound such as trimethylaluminum and then subjecting the resultant reactional product of the solid catalyst component with the organometallic compound to the contact treatment with a compound, reactive with the reactional product and providing a stable anion. Furthermore, the molar ratio of the organometallic compound to the transition metal compound used is preferably 1-5000. An olefin is polymerized in the presence of the catalyst to efficiently afford the objective polyolefin.

Using this catalyst, an olefin is polymerized to give the other objective polyolefin in high activity per catalyst.
