    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a propylene polymer compsn. having a high rate of crystallization and improved in rigidity, rigidity under heating conditions, transparency, gloss, surface hardness, etc., by blending a propylene polymer obtd. using a metallocene catalyst with a nucleating agent. SOLUTION: A propylene polymer obtd. using a metallocene catalyst is blended with a nucleating agent. Examples of the propylene polymer include a propylene homopolymer, block copolymers obtd. using propylene as the main monomer, and random copolymers obtd. using propylene as the main monomer. Usable examples of the metallocene catalyst include catalysts comprising a metallocene compd. contg. a transition metal such as Ti, Zr or Hf and an organoaluminumoxy compd. Examples of the nucleating agent include organophosphorus nucleating agents, sorbitol nucleating agents, arom. carboxylic acid nucleating agents, high-melting polymer nucleating agents, inorg. nucleating agents, and rosin nucleating agents, which may be used either alone or in combination, and the amt. of which to be used is 0.001 to 5 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. propylene polymer.
