摘要： PURPOSE:To pull out only one pipe for cleaning at the time of clogging being generated to a mud pipe. CONSTITUTION:One end side of a single pipe 9 is provided with a female joint part 91, and the other side is provided with a joint body 92A and a divided piece 92B is screw-fastened to the end part outer periphery of the single pipe 9 through a sleeve 92C in such a way as to be connectable/separable to/from the single pipe 9. The joint body 92A is then provided with a male joint part 92 in such a way as to be connected by insertion to the female joint part 91 of the other single pipe 9 adjacent to the above-mentioned single pipe 9. A pipe 8 of such constitution is used as one mud pipe. While extending the single pipes 9 in line by a pipe extending device without stopping the feed-discharge of mud, in case clogging is generated to the already laid part, only one pipe is pulled out by releasing the connected state between the joint body 92A and the single pipe 9 and cleaned.

A mud pipeline such as a feed mud pipeline 70 is directly connected to a shield device by the seal rubbers 122, 351 to feed/discharge mud, and at the same time, a new single pipe 9' is make-up charged in the other shield pipe 17 other than the above-mentioned shield pipe 17.

CONSTITUTION:A pipe extending device 10 is provided with a connecting cylinder 35 allowing a feed mud pipeline 70, formed of a feed mud pipe 7A constituted of plural mud pipes connected in series, to be disposed in the inside 35s. A pipe 8, provided with annular seal 93 along the outer periphery of a single pipe 9, as one mud pipe is slided along the axial direction of the connecting cylinder 35 so as to feed/discharge mud while being extended, thus constructing a tunnel. At this time, mud can be fed/discharged in the state of sealing a space to the connecting cylinder 35 by the seal 93 provided at the single pipe 9 itself of the pipe 8, and in this state, the pipe extending device 10 is advanced to enable the extension of the mud pipe.
