    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the discarding amount of an organic solvent when the organic solvent used in extraction in the analysis of a very small amount of a substance is evaporated for the purpose of concentration and to reduce the running cost due to the recycling of the organic solvent. SOLUTION: The organic solvent recovering apparatus is equipped with a column 2 packed with an adsorbent, an adsorbing system 3 and a desorbing system 5. The adsorbing system 3 is equipped with first piping 9 for supplying a first gas containing the organic solvent to the column 2 and second piping 10 for discharging a second gas which is formed by passing the first gas through the adsorbent, and the desorbing system 5 is equipped with third piping 19 for supplying a third gas, the temperature of which is higher than that of the first gas, to the column 2, fourth piping 18 for discharging a fourth gas, which is formed by passing the third gas through the adsorbent, to the column 2 and a condenser 14 for removing the organic solvent from the fourth gas by cooling the fourth gas to form the third gas. At this time, the adsorbent charged in the column 2 is repeatedly used for adsorbing and desorbing the organic solvent. By this method, the evaporative discarding amount of the organic solvent can be reduced, the recycling of the organic solvent becomes possible and the amount to be used of the adsorbent can be reduced.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable measurement even if an inhibiting component difficult to separate is present by arranging three-way changeover valves to the outlet of a separation column and the inlet of a detector and making it possible to change over the post- column reaction condition of the moving phase issued from the column on the way of analysis. SOLUTION: A high performance liquid chromatograph analyzer is constituted so that first and second three-way changeover valves 27, 30 are provided in the outlet of a separation column 26 and the inlet of a detector 35 and first and second reaction pipes 28, 29 are arranged so as to be connected across both valves. First and second reaction reagent quantitative pumps 32, 34 sending first and second reaction reagents 31, 33 are connected to the inlets of reaction pipes 28, 29. A sample to be analyzed is separated into respective components by the separation column 26 and these components are guided to the reaction pipes 28, 29 by changing over the three-way changeover valves 27, 30 corresponding to the kinds of the components and reacted with predetermined reaction reagents to be detected by color development. Since the selection of the reaction reagent reacting with only an objective component becomes possible, this method can also be applied to a component impossible to analyze under the same post-column reaction condition.
