The arm part 1 is then turned centering around the support column (a) side to a support column (c) side, the angle of the arm part 1 is increased and the support column (c) is held by the hand part 2. Moreover by repeating such an operation the movement is performed from the support column (c) to the support column (d) and the place thereafter further without any sliding.

CONSTITUTION:In equipment for producing a coating material, a movable container 2 is transported by a stacker crane 1 among a raw material preparation yard 3, a rough kneading yard 4, a dispersion and feeding yard 5, a dispersion machine 6, a dispersion and discharge yard 7, an adjusting yard 8, a filtration and filing yard 9, a washing yard 10, and a waiting yard 11 according to a program input in advance. The container 2 can be freely transported among those operating yards because of the annular installation of the operating yards and an annular track for the transport means. The dispersion yard 5, the dispersion machine 6, and the dispersion and discharge yard 7 are installed on three stages successively descending, enabling liq. flow by gravity. Thus, the transport of the movable container 2 by the stacker crane 1 enables a three-dimensionally free installation of the operating yards, and the annular installation of the operating yards together with the annular transport track 12 for a movable container 2 enables the free transport of the container 2 among the yards.

When a control signal is fed by an optical signal via an optical fiber cable 20, this optical signal is converted into an electric signal by a photoelectric converter 17 and comes into the control device 18. A sensor 19 and gas motor 21, etc., are then controlled by the control signal converted into an electric signal. On the other hand, the signal fed from the sensor 19 is transmitted to the photoelectric converter 17 from the control device 18 and after being converted into an optical signal it is transmitted to the external part via the optical fiber cable 20.
