    • PURPOSE:To provide a filling apparatus wherein an air duct is empty when flow-down filling of liquid is started so as to reduce filling time. CONSTITUTION:A filling apparatus comprises a valve body 30 with a liquid flow inlet 30a on an upper part protruding in a filler bowl 20 and with a liquid inlet pipe 31 formed on a lower part, an air duct 40 having a hole 40b above liquid in the filler bowl 20 on an upper part, a liquid outlet valve 41 and an air inlet 40d at a lower end passing through the valve body 30 and a liquid inlet valve 50 out-fitted on the air duct 40 and held by a valve seat 30b of the valve body 30. It further comprises a guide cylinder 61 out-fitted to a lower part of the valve body 30 and constantly pushed downward with a centering cup 60 held at its tip, and a pusher 70 for stopping the air duct 40 at an upper limit position to push it downward by a predetermined distance. Thus when the air duct 40 is at the upper limit position, both the liquid inlet valve 50 and the liquid outlet valve 41 are closed, while when the air duct 40 lowers, the liquid outlet valve 40 opens and when the duct 40 further lowers, the liquid inlet valve 50 opens.

    • PURPOSE:To discharge the remaining in an air vent pipe to a liquid tank and smoothly and rapidly charge the liquid by raising a container from the condition that an inner cylinder is lowered and the nozzle of the inner cylinder comes into contact with the valve seat of the air vent pipe and the exhausting air inlet and the charging liquid inlet are closed. CONSTITUTION:In a condition that true sealing part 5b of the clearance of an inner cylinder 5 contacts the sealing material 21 of a fixed ring 20 and the liquid flows from the inside of a liquid tank (a) into the upper part of an outer cylinder 1 through a charging liquid inlet 24, when a container 27 to be charged is raised and the container opening comes into contact with the seal packing 9, the nozzle 5a and the inner cylinder 5 is raised up against an elastic material 11 and the sealing part 5b is separated from the sealing material 21. When the nozzle 5a is separated from the valve seat 22 and the charging liquid inlet 24 and the exhaust air inlet 25 are opened, the pressure within the container 27 is increased and the air is discharged into the gas phase in the liquid tank (a) and the remaining in the air vent pipe 13 is discharged to the container 27. Next, when the inner cylinder 5 rises higher and the liquid path 26 communicates with the inner cylinder 5, the liquid is charged.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent coming of abrasion dust into a container for a filling valve which fills the container with liquid and prevent errors in the liquid level or bubbles from occurring to the liquid in the container. CONSTITUTION:A filling valve 142 is fixed to the outer periphery of a liquid storing tank 140. As a container 143 is carried to a position under the filling valve 142 of a rotary filing machine, the opening of the container is sealed first, and then a bent tube 148 is lowered inside a through hole of the valve body with an ascending/descending means. As the bent tube 148 is lowered to a specified position, a gap between the outer periphery of the bent tube and the through hole is sealed by reducing the inner diameter of an elastic body arranged between the outer periphery of the bent tube and the through hole of the valve body and attached to the valve body side, and at the same time the bent tube is held. Gaseous matter in the container is exhausted through the bent tube 148 by virtue of this sealing as the container is filled with a liquid, and the pressure inside the container increases. The increase of the pressure is detected by a pressure sensor 185, and thereby filling of the liquid is completed.
