摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently remove extraneous matter to a heat exchanger in denitration reaction that particularly uses ammonia as a reducing agent, by sprinkling a small quantity of water by means of a soot blower, and by blowing soot when removing said extraneous matter. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas of a boiler 1 is subject to the injection of NH3 from an NH3 injection pipe 8, mixed in a mixer 9 and introduced to a denitration reactor 7. NOx is decomposed into N2 and H2O here, and exhaust gas is discharged from a chimney through a heat exchanger 4 and a dust collector 5. In this case, said heat exchanger is provided with an element 2 revolving centering around a shaft 3 in a casing 1, and exchanges heat between gas from a duct 5 and air from dust 6, and the element 2 is washed by water sprinkling by means of a flushing nozzle 8 and the blow-in of steam or air from the soot blow 9, but a water sprinkling pipe 11 is further added to the soot blow 9 and air, etc. are blown in after water sprinkling at that time.
