摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method with which in the case of welding an aluminum-boron alloy, the property of a base material at the welded part is not deteriorated. When a time x/v passes after the welding with the MIG welding torch 100 is completed, the reheating on a weld bead 50 is performed with the TIG torch 110.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the outside diameter of a basket used for a spent fuel assembly to be smaller than conventional one. SOLUTION: A corner part A of a square pipe 300, constituting a basket, is formed stepwise. When constituting a basket with this square pipe 300, the square pipes 300 are arranged staggeredly and the stepwise parts provided in corners are combined. Thus, the inside of the square pipes 300 and the space surrounded by 4 sides 12 of the square pipes respectively become cells 400 and 401. The basket 200 arranges the square pipes 300 staggeredly, and thus the sides 12 of the cells 400 and the like are constituted of a single plate. As a result, stiffness becomes higher compared with the case overlapping two plates with a half thickness of the sides 12, and thus the thickness of the plate of the side can be made small, if the stiffness id the same. Then, the outer diameter of the basket can be made smaller.

SOLUTION: A metal billet 202 used for hot expansion molding comprises an upper rim 202a and a lower rim 202b on both ends, and the sectional shape thereof is substantially the same as the inside sectional shape of a molding container 300. The lower rim 202b in a pressing forward side has a taper 205 so that the outer shape is minimized toward the pressing direction. The middle part of the metal billet 202 is formed so that the sectional area corresponds to the difference between the inside sectional area of the molding container 300 and the sectional area of a boring punch 400. After the metal billet 202 is inserted to the molding container 300, the billet 202 is hot expansion-molded by the boring punch 400.
