摘要： PURPOSE:To weld an extra thick stock having a narrow groove on both sides by a stable welded joint which is free from incomplete penetration and scarcely causes angular distortion, and also, to remarkably reduce the manhour. CONSTITUTION:At the time of executing multi-layer welding to an extra thick stock 1 having a narrow groove 2 on both sides, a groove gap in the vicinity of a weld zone of the next layer after multi-layer welding is finished is detected automatically by a laser vision type gap sensor 13 attached onto the same weld line as a welding torch 5 and welding of its side is continued. Also, at the time point when a detection value of the laser vision type gap sensor 13 reaches the groove gap set in advance, a detecting signal is fed back to an inversion motor 4 through an image processing system 15, the extra thick stock 1 is inverted and welding of the other side is performed.

The molten electrode arrives at the base and end part of the groove of the bead part 4 and is satisfactorily deposited thereon, by which the satisfactory welding is accomplished.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily, rapidly and securely improving the residual stress of a double wall pipe without accessing the interior of the pipe, by heating the double wall pipe to reduce the residual tensile stress or convert the residual tensile stress into residual compressive stress.
SOLUTION: A coupler has a weld zone of the double wall pipe having a first shell 11 and a second shell 12, wherein the first shell 11 is butt-welded to a neighboring shell 2 to form a joint and the second shell 12 is attached to the inner wall of the first shell 11 only at its base. Heating is stopped before the temperatures of the first shell 11 and the neighboring shell 2 reach either a temperature at which modification occurs inside materials composing the shells 11 and 2 or a temperature at which water is boiled through heat-transfer from the joint.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method for piping, that consumes no inert gas in large quantities, that enables inter-equipment piping to be soundly welded to each other, and that makes smooth fluid flow possible in the piping after the welding. SOLUTION: The method of welding inter-equipment piping 1a, 1b to each other to be the final joints comprises the steps of: a step of inserting each shield partition wall 2a, 2b made of a water-soluble material from the abutting end of the piping; a step in which, after the piping 1a, 1b is abutted on each other, with a fine tube 5 inserted from the groove 3, an inert gas is supplied through this fine tube 5 into the piping 1a, 1b, and in which the piping space including the groove 3 divided by the two shield partition walls 2a, 2b is replaced with an inert gas atmosphere; a step of welding the groove 3 of the piping 1a, 1b; and a step of making water flow through the piping 1a, 1b, dissolving the shield partition walls 2a, 2b and discharging them.

The welding wire 7 passes through a guide and electrifying body 4, and generates a welding arc 9. The welding arc 9 oscillates at a high speed between bead width W, and stirs a molten metal 10. When this molten metal 10 is stirred, floating of a gas component generated in materials to be welded 11, 12 made of Al or an Al alloy is quickened, and generation of a blowhole is prevented.

CONSTITUTION:A plurality of vanes 6 are bridged over a main plate 5 and a shroud 1 opposed thereto. A main plate side vane 4 integrated with the main plate 5 is abutted against a shroud side vane 2 integrated with the shroud 1 for composing an impeller for a fluid machine. Connection surface 3 between the main plate side vanes 4 and the shroud side vanes 2 are inclined alternatively in opposite directions. When connection pressure is applied thereto, circumferential component force applied to the plural connection surfaces 3 is cancelled. The connection surfaces 3 are thus prevented from dislocating. The main plate and shroud are facilitated in their setting. Their fixing jig is dispensed with, and adjustment of a gap between connection surfaces is facilitated.

CONSTITUTION:The inner surface of a tube is lined with a ceramic thick film by use of thermite reaction. The tube is filled with a mixture powder prepared by adding Al and iron oxide as the reaction agent to SiO2 by 10-40wt.% of the total powder weight. The tube is vertically disposed, to which initial heat source is applied from the upper part so that the thermite reaction proceeds successively from the upper part. Thus, the ceramic as the reaction product is deposited to line the inner wall of the tube.
