摘要： PURPOSE:To perform optimum operation of dust sucking and reduce the noise generation by controlling at least one of the currents flowing through a blower motor, a rotary brush motor, and a motor for traveling in accordance with the sort of floor surface, which is sensed by a sensing means furnished at the suction port. CONSTITUTION:The body 11 of a floor brush is connected with the body of a vacuum cleaner through a hose, at-hand maneuvering part, and pipe. The brush body 11 is fitted at four corners with runner wheels 20a, 20b and ones 20c, 20d driven by a motor for traveling 23 through a gear 24. A motor 16 for rotary brush rotates a brush 14 in the regular or reverse direction through a belt 18, while a motor for blower is installed in the body of vacuum cleaner to suck the air and dust through a suction port 13. The input current to the motor for traveling 23 varies in accordance with the sort of the floor surface. A CPU out of illustration senses the sort of floor surface from the input current to the traveling motor 23 and controls at least one of the input currents to the blower motor, rotary brush motor 16, and traveling motor 23, which ensures that the optimum dust sucking is carried out and noise generation is reduced.
