摘要： PURPOSE:To restrict the effect of a fault due to an error in a small range by expressing a mechanism showing the numerical value by experssing a digit with more bits for numerical values of a high-order digit. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism showing the numerical value is expressed by a binary form (1, 0) with more bits used for a digit with higher positions. For instance, a bit group 3 of the highest digit uses three bits 2. In case three bits are all set at 1 or two bits are set at 1, it is decided that the highest bit is set at 1 by the majority logic. For the lowest digit 4, the numerical value is expressed by a bit. With upper digits an operation is avoided while an error exists as long as the multiple errors are not produced. Thus the effect of a fault can be reduced to a small range to outside.
