    • A fuel feeder for vehicles has a construction wherein a fuel chamber (24), support cavities (7c, 22c, 23c) and fuel flow passages (27, 29) are formed with a sub-tank (21) fitted into a bottom wall opening (1b) of a fuel tank (1) by integral molding, and the fuel pump (7), a fuel filter (22) and a pressure regulator (23) are accommodated in, and supported by, the respective support cavities. The fuel chamber (24) is substantially closed to the drastic outflow of the fuel other than the outflow by an air vent hole (24b) and a fuel inflow port (24a) which allows the fuel to inflow at a predetermined flow rate for a predetermined time, and grooves (38) for accommodating and supporting feeder cables (11) are formed on the wall surface of the fuel pump support cavity (7c). Assembly components of the apparatus constituent elements are not necessary, the weight and the number of components are reduced, and assembly is easy and the cost of production can be reduced. The fuel does not flow out from the sub-tank at the time of drastic acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle.
