CONSTITUTION:A regulation spindle 5 the tip end of which projects into a gas blow-out port 1 by the installation of an energizing spring 12 to the rear end side and is pressed against and held to the advanced position that reduces the area of the opening of the gas blow-out port 1 and the tip end of which comes out of the gas blow-out port 1 by the installation of an energizing spring 12 to the tip end side and is pressed against and held to the retreating position at which the gas blow-out port 1 is fully opened is internally installed in the gas introduction channel 2 of a nozzle main body 3 which has in its inside a gas introduction channel 2 that communicates linearly with the gas blow-out port 1 at the tip end. With this arrangement, it is possible to change the area of the gas blow-out port only by replacing the energizing spring and it is easy to machine the regulating spindle.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the case in which the combustion stops by the existence of an obstacle and improve the easiness of use by providing on the back face and side edge section of a set-up foot on one side a passing air opening which connects an air space held by the set-up foot and the inside of a room and a temperature sensing element at a position to which the air from the passing air opening advances. CONSTITUTION:Between the floor face F for installation and the lower section of the main body 1 there is a space S held by right and left setting feet 3. The space S opens at its front face which faces an indoor air intake port 2 into a room. An air passage opening 6 which connects the space S with the indoor is provided at the end section 4 of the back face of one of the setting feet 3 and a temperature detection element 7 in a control system to detect the temperature in the room and control a combustion device is provided at a position which is also exposed to the air from the air passage opening 6. Accordingly, if there is an obstacle in front and a shortcircuit of a low degree by hot air develops, it is mixed with the air in the room taken in from the air passage opening 6 so that air of temperature lower than that of the discharged hot air is taken in from the intake port 2 and the temperature detection element 7 also detects the air in the room the temperature of which has dropped, whereby the combustion does not stop and an adequate operation of the control system is realized.

    • PURPOSE:To control combustion amount by means of specified air-fuel ratio through an inexpensive constitution, by a method wherein the control current of a proportional control valve located in a fuel feed passage is controlled in a staged manner by means of a value about coinciding with properties of the proportional valve depending on positive and negative of inclination of a current, and simultaneously, the switching terminal for the capacity of a blower is properly selected in response to control. CONSTITUTION:With a heating starting switch 12 actuated, a control signal is inputted to a control circuit 13. When a double electromagnetic valve 10 opened, a blower 4, simultaneously, is operated, ignition is made by means of an igniter 5, and hot air is discharged in a chamber. As a result of an indoor temperature being increased, an indoor temperature T detected by a thermistor 11 is increased, and when a difference DELTAT between the detected temperature and a set temperature To is reduced to not more than a given value, a control circuit 13 determines a control current I-1 to a proportional control valve 9, a blast amount Q-1 of the blower 4 is shifted from H to MH, and a combustion quantity is reduced as an air-fuel ratio is maintained about at a specified value. As noted above, a fuel amount and an air amount are controlled in a staged manner to hysteresis properties of the proportional control valve 9, and this enables varying of a combustion amount by means of a specified air-fuel ratio through an inexpensive constitution.
