    • PURPOSE:To provide an ozone diffuser capable of always and uniformly diffusing ozone in the whole water to be treated in accordance with the change in the injection amount of ozone following the change in the amount of water to be treated. CONSTITUTION:Many gas diffusion cylinders 2 are separated into a plurality of groups A, B and also the gas diffusion cylinders 2a, 2b constituting the respective groups A, B are uniformly arranged on the bottom part of an ozone contact pond 1 at every group. When the injection amount of ozone is halved, only the valve of one side is opened and ozone is diffused from only the gas diffusion cylinder 2a of the group A of one side. Thereby, quantity of ozone per one piece of the gas diffusion cylinder 2a is held in a range of proper quantity of ozone. Thereby, even in this case, ozone is uniformly diffused from the respective gas diffusion cylinders 2a of the group A. Ozone is uniformly diffused in the whole water to be treated by arrangement of the gas diffusion cylinder 2a.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozonizer capable of carrying out the assembling operations and disassembling and inspecting operations in a short time by forming a narrow discharge gap of the ozonizer for passing oxygen or a raw material gas containing the oxygen through the minute discharge gap and producing an ozonized gas. Furthermore, the ozonizer is composed so as to arrange a spacer 33 in which plural tongue parts formed into a circular arc shape are installed at a regular interval on one side of a beltlike part having an outer peripheral length of the high-voltage electrode 31 between the earthed electrode 32 and the high-voltage electrode 31, apply a pressure between mutual electrodes 32 and 31 and form a discharge gap 34.

    • PURPOSE:To absorb difference in pressure between the inside and outside of a washing tower for keeping the amount of liquid in a circulating water tank constant by providing a water sealing part between the overflow nozzle and the overflow pipe of a vapor-liquid contact type washing tower. CONSTITUTION:In a washing tower in which gas is washed by vapor-liquid contact method, an U-shaped washing sealing part 6 is provided between an overflow nozzle 3, overflow pipe 4, and a syphon cut 5. Thus, when the inside pressure of the tower is higher than the atmospheric pressure, the liquid level of the water sealing part 6 becomes lower on a circulating water tank 2 side than on the connection side of the overflow pipe 4 by as much as difference in pressure, whereas, when the inside pressure of the tower is lower than the atmospheric pressure, the liquid level becomes higher on the circulating water tank 2 side than on the connection side of the overflow pipe 4 by as much as difference in pressure. Since the water sealing part 6 absorbs the pressure difference in this way, the amount of liquid in the circulating water tank 2 can be kept constant without being affected by the atmospheric pressure.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate influence of air bubbles on measurement and to prevent a deposition from sticking to the inside surface of a cell by fitting an air separator in a piping for sending a liquid sample to the cell in the device measuring a quantity of material based on the transmittance of a light. CONSTITUTION:The sample is sent to a mixer 4 by a metering pump 1, mixed therein with sodium hydroxide sent by a metering pump 2 to have higher pH and sent to the cell 5. On passing through the cell, the light transmittance of the sample is measured by means of a light-source lamp 6 and a measuring apparatus 7 and indicated. When the sample flows into the air separator 8 fitted to the middle of the piping communicating the mixer 4 with the cell 5, air bubbles rise in the liquid and are released into the air and the sample alone flows into the cell 5. In addition, the deposition sticking to the air bubbles appears also on the water surface of the air separator 8 and is not produced in the cell 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozonizer in which the flatness of an electrode surface is secured to be highly accurate and the stacking structure of modules is easily structured. The in and out part is formed with: the gas takeout port of the ozone gas passage through a narrow part in the side part of the side of the electrode discharge part; and the cooling medium inlet port and the cooling medium outlet port of the cooling medium passage. The electrode discharge part, the 2nd electrode, the dielectric plate and the spacer, the in and out part and a manifold block are respectively held by a separated holding mechanism.
