    • A copying machine specially adapted to cause both an original and a sensitive paper to reach their respective exposing sections synchronously. The machine then cuts the sensitive paper to the same length as the original. The machine includes first and second original detecting members respectively located immediately upstream of, and at an upstream end of, the original exposing section alongside a passageway for transferring the original, a synchronously transferring roller immediately upstream of said first original detecting member, and a sensitive paper detecting member provided immediately upstream of a sensitive paper exposing section alongside a passageway for transferring the sensitive paper. The supply of sensitive paper is started when the leading edge of the original has reached the second original detecting member and the sensitive paper is cut when the rear edge of the original passes the first original detecting member. The synchronously transferring roller stops rotating when the leading edge of the original has reached the first original detecting member and resumes rotating when the leading edge of the sensitive paper has reached the sensitive paper detecting member.
