At carrying the soft earth and soil in, a drainage sand layer 25 along the outer circumferential revetment 20a on one end side of the horizontal drains 28 and vertically continued by burying the one ends of the horizontal drains 28 is formed, a water passage 30 communicated to the inside and the outside of the revetment 20a is provided on a higher position than the sea level WL of the outer circumferential revetment 20a facing to the drainage sand layer 25, a well point 35 is provided on the bottom part of the drainage sand layer 25, and after naturally draining water in the drainage sand layer 25 through the water passage 30, the water is forcedly drained through the well point 35.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the growth of a plant for a long period by improving acid soil using a microorganism. SOLUTION: The surface of the acid soil is scattered with a carrier for the microorganism comprising a natural polymeric material such as a bean-curd refuse and a carrier for the microorganism comprising an inorganic porous material such as zeolite and the acid soil is mechanically stirred and mixed with the carriers. The surface of the resultant soil is then scattered with seeds of the plant. A microorganism having the tolerance in the presence of high- concentration aluminum and adsorbing and removing aluminum ions is used as the microorganism and, e.g. Corynebacterium sp. SS-6994 described in Japanese Unexamined Publication Number 10-271990 can be used. The microorganism may previously be made to stick to the carrier and mixed together with the carrier into the soil. Otherwise, the microorganism, together with seeds of the plant, may be mixed with water and sprayed onto the surface of the soil by spraying. Shell lime, etc., together with the carrier, can be mixed into the soil.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple equipment for decontaminating the contaminated soil, in which high-efficiency decontamination can be carried out without expansion of contaminants and a method therefor. SOLUTION: A water barrier wall 2 is constructed to surround the region that the soil is contaminated by a toxic substance. A well 3 surrounded by steel pipes 21, 25 is dug on the downstream side of the contaminated region. The pipe 21 being in contact with the contaminated region is filled with a decontaminating agent 24. The pipe 25 being in contact with the uncontaminated region is provided with a gate 28 to be opened/closed. When the ground water in the region surrounded by the wall 2 passes among the particles of the contaminated soil, the ground water withdraws the toxic substance contained in the contaminated soil 1, passes through an opening of the pipe 21 and flows into the well 3. The toxic substance contained in the ground water is made harmless by the agent 24 in the pipe 21. When the concentration of the toxic substance in the well 2 is lower than the reference value, the ground water in the well 2 is discharged to the outside by opening the gate 28. The lower layer part framework is supported by easily detachable legs. The lower and upper layer part frameworks can be respectively separated to be transported, hung up and anchored while the mixer, the contaminated soil weighing device and the like are fixed.

A slurried hardening material 7 composed of coal cinder and water is charged through the pipe 6 into the bag 5 to expand the bag 6 fully in the casing 2. The pipe 6 is then removed out, the casing 2 is pulled up to leave the bag 5 behind, and the pipe 6 is again connected to the upside of the bag 5. The material 7 is further charged through the pipe 6 into the bag 5, whereupon the excessive water of the material 7 leaches with the finely divided material 7 into the ground 1 to form a hardened column 9.
